Module #1: Reading Overview
This module gives you all the background knowledge you need to understand reading intervention. Here is where we dive deep into The Science of Reading, and I give you the SECRET FORMULA that will help any struggling reader!
Module #2: Identify
This module helps you identify which students are struggling and pinpoint exactly where they are struggling. I give you an assessment flowchart to plan your assessments, and an Intervention Assessment to use with your students.
Module #3: Plan
This module helps you plan out your curriculum and intervention roadmap. It covers the progression and order in which skills are learned and helps you make a plan targeting exactly what your student needs.
Module #4: Teach
This module shows you how to actually teach your interventions and put everything into practice with your student. I show you the essentials of a session, what a session would look like, and LOAD you up with a ton of hands-on and multi-sensory learning activities.
Module #5: Adjust
This module helps you tweak and adjust your plan to meet students' needs, because sometimes we need to step back and regroup. It covers how to tell if your interventions are working, what to do if students just can't get it, and differentiating for different needs.

Meet Katelyn
Hey there! My name is Katelyn and I am the creator of the Reaching Your Readers Course. I have a passion for teaching reading and helping teachers reach their struggling readers.
I have helped thousands of teachers be the difference for their struggling readers, and I would love to help you too!
I have a degree in Elementary Education from BYU with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have been in education for 8 years. I started out teaching first grade at a high risk Title 1 school, and then moved into private tutoring working one-on-one with struggling students.
I have been extensively trained in DIBELS and reading interventions, including ECRI, and was a Learning Target Specialist at my school. I trained other teachers in breaking down standards and building assessments and learning targets.
