Meet Katelyn
Hey there! My name is Katelyn and I am the creator of the Reaching Your Readers Course. I have a passion for teaching reading and helping teachers reach their struggling readers.
I have helped thousands of teachers be the difference for their struggling readers, and I would love to help you too!
I have a degree in Elementary Education from BYU with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have been in education for 7 years. I started out teaching first grade at a high risk Title 1 school, and then moved into private tutoring working one-on-one with struggling students.
I have been extensively trained in DIBELS and reading interventions, including ECRI, and was a Learning Target Specialist at my school. I trained other teachers in breaking down standards and building assessments and learning targets.
